WHITE MOUNTAIN RACE LEAGUE
The Eastern Inter-Club Ski League (EICSL) runs its own race league during the winter. They tried it during the summer, but the snow wasn’t very good. Most member clubs field their own teams in various classes, including Men’s skiing, Women’s skiing and Co-ed Snowboarding.
Racers compete as a team and on an individual basis.
We have levels for every ability level, so no experience is necessary. We have racers from novice all the way up to expert. There are many first time racers every year. Most come back and get better every year.
There are five races throughout the season. There is a warm-up race in December to help you clear the cobwebs and three qualifiers during the season. Racers who qualify can attend the Championship Race in March. Qualifying simply requires that you start at least one race and finish at least one race.
Basically, racing is fun. You get to meet a lot of people and maybe win an award…
